Test firing an 1833 Type II Hall / North carbine

By Jim

Test firing the Hall carbine after minor repairs. This carbine was issued to the 2nd US Dragoons regiment in Florida during the Seminole Indian Wars.

Caliber is .52, with a 24" triangular bayonet. It has an unsealed breech, so it throws a lot of hot powder gasses and fire into the shooter's face.
